Therapy With Karen Feeney
Karen received her Master’s Degree from Simmons School of Social Work and has a post Master’s certificate in Children and Adolescent psychotherapy.
She has had extensive experience working with clients ages 3-25, and their families, in a variety of settings including mental health clinics, schools, Head Start programs and in pediatrician’s offices. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to treat anxiety, depression, panic disorders and OCD as well as situational challenges that may include family transitions, peer issues or school difficulties.
She has had extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including mental health clinics, schools, Head Start programs and in Primary Care Physicians’ offices. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to treat anxiety, depression, and panic disorders as well as situational challenges that may include family transitions, peer issues, or job/school difficulties. Additionally, Karen has specialized training in the treatments of: obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma and Tic and Tourette Disorders.
